Cookie Policy

Effective Date: July 8, 2026 · Version 1

This Cookie Policy explains how AudToro LLC (“AudToro,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the AudToro marketplace. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use browser localStorage to remember your cookie preferences. LocalStorage is not a cookie, but we disclose it here because it controls whether marketing cookies are allowed.

2. How we use cookies

We group cookies into two categories:

  • Essential — required for login, security, and core platform features. These do not require marketing consent.
  • Marketing / advertising — used for Google Ads conversion measurement and remarketing. These load only after you accept marketing cookies in our consent banner.

3. Essential cookies

  • Supabase auth session cookies (sb-*) — keep you signed in and protect account sessions.
  • Session heartbeat (sb_ip_hb_ts) — helps maintain activity and fraud-prevention signals while you use AudToro.

4. Marketing / advertising cookies

When you choose Accept on our cookie banner, we enable Google Ads (tag ID AW-18267413149) under Consent Mode v2. Until you accept, advertising storage remains denied.

  • Consent preference (audtoro_marketing_consent) — records whether you accepted or rejected marketing cookies so our servers can respect that choice for conversion measurement.
  • Click attribution (audtoro_gclid, and when present audtoro_gbraid / audtoro_wbraid) — stores Google click IDs when you arrive from an ad so we can attribute conversions.
  • Google Ads cookies (examples: _gcl_au, _gcl_aw) — set by Google when consent is granted for conversion and remarketing measurement.
  • Consent preference storage (audtoro_cookie_consent in localStorage) — remembers your banner choice so we do not ask on every visit.

5. Server-side conversion measurement

If you grant marketing consent, AudToro may also send conversion events to Google from our servers (for example after email confirmation or a successful payment). Those uploads may include a hashed version of your email (Enhanced Conversions). We do not send your raw email address in the Google Ads upload payload.

6. Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand site performance and usage. These tools are privacy-focused and are separate from Google Ads. They may run independently of marketing cookie consent.

7. Your choices

On your first visit (and after clearing site data), a banner lets you Accept marketing cookies or Reject non-essential cookies. Essential cookies continue to work either way.

To change your choice later, clear cookies and site data for AudToro in your browser (including audtoro_* cookies and localStorage), then reload the site to see the banner again.

8. Third-party opt-outs
